Jumpstart Your Book-Writing Adventure at Everybody Reads

LANSING, MI, March 21, 2024—Are you ready to write that book in you? Ann Arbor- and Lansing-area author, editor, and book coach Ken Wachsberger is coming to Everybody Reads, for his fifth time, to help you jumpstart your book-writing adventure:

Please mark your calendar and join him if you are anywhere near the Lansing area.

  • Date:              Thursday April 11
  • Time:             7-9 p.m.
  • Address:        2019 East Michigan Avenue, Lansing, Michigan

Ken is the author of You’ve Got the Time: How to Write and Publish That Book in You, which was just released in its second edition in February. Everybody Reads hosted Ken’s first edition book launch in 2020. This visit is Ken’s Lansing launch for the second edition.

You’ve Got the Time tells you everything you need to know to write, publish, and launch your book whether you choose to publish independently or through an established publisher. This edition addresses changes that came about in the independent publishing industry, after Ken’s first edition was released, because of the merger between Draft2Digital and Smashwords, two industry giants.

As a special bonus, Ken will give away a copy of his first book, Beercans on the Side of the Road: The Story of Henry the Hitchhiker, with each purchase of You’ve Got the Time.

Ken Wachsberger is a long-time author, editor, educator, and book coach, as well as a recognized historian of the Lansing-area and nationwide underground press from the Vietnam era. As a member of the National Speakers Association, he helps professionals write books to establish their credibility; and others to find healing and a way to preserve their legacy. As a contract adviser with the National Writers Union, he helps members to understand and negotiate their book contracts.
