Stress Release: An Exercise for Writers

Launch day is approaching for your book. You have news to share. You want to tell your story to everyone in your words and your voice, with your spin. You feel the need for stress release.

I’ve Been There

I’ve been there. It’s easy. Here’s what you do:

  1. Touch the fingertips and heels of your open hands together, fingers spread, elbows extending outward.
  2. Flatten your hands and press them into each other until you feel the warm blood flowing to your shoulders.
  3. Now release the pressure, fingertips and heels still touching.
  4. Press again. And release.
  5. Press. Release.
  6. Press release.
  7. Press release

Feel the Stress Release

Ahh, feel the stress release as the brain congestion caused by withholding news about your book finds focus in your next press release.

In my next three entries, I’ll show you when to write a press release, how to write one, and how to extend their reach through a press release distribution network.

Don’t miss them.
